Michelle Nicole Hill

“Some say the view is crazy, but you may adopt another point of view.”

- David Bowie

Michelle’s favorite quote she works by.

Michelle Hill is a creative tour de force. Her career spans fashion design and the art of intricate shoemaking.

Driven by her own definition of success and staying true to herself, she has a David Bowie lyric “some say the view is crazy but you may adopt another point of view” tattooed on her arm as a reminder to stay grounded.

Michelle’s desire to prove herself in the fashion world motivates her to create unique footwear that is bound to make shoe-wearers confident in themselves one sole at a time.

Seattle born and raised, Michelle was captivated by the fashion world. By age 12, she was combing through Fruits books which featured cool Tokyo street style. Instantly, she was infatuated by the eccentric outfits and decided her path was to create her very own designs. “I was blown away by all the cool platform shoes in Fruits and begged my parents to take me to Hot Topic so I could acquire my own pair. They finally obliged and I got a pair of white platform knee high boots which I wore essentially every day until they fell apart.”
